This market will resolve to the coach who wins the 2026 MLS Coach of the Year award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Midseason 2026 MLS standings show broad parity, with Nashville SC atop the Supporters’ Shield race and comparable records for Vancouver Whitecaps, San Jose Earthquakes, and Inter Miami amid fixture congestion and roster turnover. Recent firings of early frontrunners Nico Estévez at Austin and Bradley Carnell at Philadelphia have redirected trader focus toward coaches sustaining results through tactical adjustments, depth management, and consistent points-per-game output rather than preseason expectations. This even spread among candidates from top clubs underscores limited separation in home/away splits, head-to-head form, and summer schedule momentum, leaving the Sigi Schmid Coach of the Year outcome dependent on which side maintains form through the playoff push.
