Alex Smalley holds a narrow two-shot lead entering the final round at Aronimink after birdieing seven of his last 12 holes on Saturday to post the tournament's only three sub-70 scores. A deep pack remains within three strokes, including Jon Rahm, Ludvig Aberg, and Matti Schmid, while established names such as Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele, and Scottie Scheffler sit just outside striking distance. This compressed leaderboard has produced closely bunched trader probabilities, with no single player exceeding an 18 percent implied chance and multiple contenders holding realistic paths to victory depending on Sunday scoring at the demanding layout. Recent momentum swings and course-specific ball-striking demands continue to keep the field wide open heading into the decisive 18 holes.
