Trader consensus heavily favored the under on 4.5 knockouts because recent cards have averaged just three to four finishes despite occasional high-output nights, with many three-round matches between durable veterans ending in decisions after grueling exchanges. Official weigh-ins and coin-toss results showed no major late scratches or fitness concerns that typically boost knockout volume, while stylistic matchups like Trujillo-Johnson and Perez-Burnard historically lean toward points battles rather than early stoppages. Only unforeseen power surges or referee interventions could realistically push totals higher.
