The 2026 NFL season's opening week produced a broad mix of 1-0 and 0-1 records across both conferences, underscoring league-wide parity that leaves no single club as a clear frontrunner for the top regular-season mark. Multiple teams, including the Ravens, Bills, Chiefs, Jaguars, Eagles, and 49ers, posted convincing victories while others like the Rams and Dolphins stumbled, yet roster depth, quarterback health, and divisional schedule strength remain fluid variables. Preseason projections highlighted contenders such as the Seahawks and Rams, but early results and injury reports have kept implied probabilities clustered, with traders viewing the path to 13-plus wins as highly contested through the 17-game slate.
