At the start of the 2026 NFL regular season, the market for the worst record shows tightly bunched implied probabilities across more than two dozen teams, reflecting widespread uncertainty in roster construction, quarterback situations, and coaching transitions. Several clubs face tough schedules, lingering injury questions from training camp, and questions about depth that could produce extended losing streaks. Recent preseason results and divisional alignments have done little to separate contenders from the pack, while historical trends indicate that early outcomes and in-season adjustments often reshape standings quickly. This competitive balance leaves multiple franchises with realistic paths to the bottom of the league standings.

If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to finish the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the worst regular season record, the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If two or more teams finish tied for the worst regular season record, this market will resolve in favor of the tied team that is assigned the earliest selection position in the 2027 NFL Draft under the NFL's draft order tie-breaking procedures (strength of schedule, then the applicable divisional or conference tiebreakers), before accounting for any traded or forfeited selections.
If the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed after January 24, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or the final regular season standings have not been officially determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL (https://www.nfl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
