The tight clustering of implied probabilities around 49-50% across dozens of quarterbacks reflects the highly unpredictable nature of interception totals heading into the 2026 NFL season. Early camp reports and preseason trends highlight similar risk factors for many signal-callers, including young passers like Shedeur Sanders, Cam Ward, and Drake Maye facing steep learning curves, plus veterans such as Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, and Baker Mayfield operating in schemes that emphasize aggressive downfield throws. Offensive line stability, defensive pressure from upcoming opponents, and coaching emphasis on ball security remain key variables that could shift the leader board once regular-season action begins, keeping the field wide open in trader consensus.
