This market will resolve according to the official UFC Bantamweight division champion on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Only official UFC division champions will count. Interim champions will not count. If the relevant belt is vacant at this market’s check time, or there is otherwise no champion in the specified division, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Petr Yan holds the bantamweight title after his December 2025 decision win over Merab Dvalishvili, yet the division’s depth and scheduling uncertainty keep implied probabilities clustered among the top four names. Dvalishvili retains a UFC-promised trilogy shot, but Yan’s recovery timeline has pushed the rematch into the second half of 2026, leaving room for others to climb. Sean O’Malley and Aiemann Zahabi meet in a pivotal June 2026 bout whose winner stands to earn immediate contender status, explaining Zahabi’s elevated market share. Umar Nurmagomedov’s ongoing win streak and strong rankings add further pressure, while veterans such as Song Yadong and Cory Sandhagen remain live options in a weight class where recent form, activity levels, and matchmaking can rapidly shift consensus.
