Drafted second overall, she benefits from a high-usage opportunity on a contending roster, aligning with historical patterns where guards in featured spots often dominate the award. Raven Johnson trails at a distant second following her tenth-overall selection by the Indiana Fever, where defensive prowess and championship pedigree provide a solid foundation but limited initial minutes cap her upside. The rest of the field, including Kiki Rice and Azzi Fudd, remains tightly bunched behind them amid a deep rookie class, with upcoming regular-season games and statistical thresholds likely to clarify the race as voting momentum builds toward the end of the campaign.
