The Tempo, despite trailing by 20 points, mounted a late rally that closed the gap to one possession, demonstrating resilience in their early-season road performance. Both teams face injury concerns heading into their May 17 rematch in Los Angeles, including Isabelle Harrison’s absence for Toronto due to a hand issue and uncertainty around Ariel Atkins for the Sparks. These factors, combined with the Sparks’ need to build momentum after an 0-2 start and the Tempo’s quest for their second win, shape the current trader consensus around this WNBA matchup.
