Diego Hidalgo and Alejandro Tabilo face third-seeded Yuki Bhambri and Michael Venus in the opening round of the Geneva Open doubles on outdoor clay. Bhambri and Venus bring extensive ATP experience, including recent deep runs at major events and strong net play that suits slower surfaces. Hidalgo and Tabilo, blending South American clay-court familiarity with Tabilo’s established singles results, counter with solid baseline consistency and recent pairing momentum. The match pits the home-region duo’s adaptation to the red dirt against the seeded pair’s tactical depth and historical success in European swing events. No major injuries or roster changes have emerged ahead of the contest, leaving surface conditions and early-tournament form as the primary variables.
