Minnesota Twins (32-40) enter the upcoming three-game set at Chase Field as the road underdog against Arizona Diamondbacks (35-35), who hold a stronger 21-14 home mark. The Twins sit 6.5 games back in the AL Central after a mixed recent stretch that includes multiple comebacks but ongoing offensive inconsistency. Key roster concerns include catcher Ryan Jeffers on the 10-day IL with a fractured hamate and multiple pitchers sidelined by elbow issues. Arizona maintains a competitive NL West position with solid home pitching depth, though bullpen reliability remains a longer-term variable. The series pits the Twins’ road struggles against the D-backs’ home advantage and schedule positioning in mid-June.
