Recent trader sentiment for Charizard ex cards on Polymarket remains finely balanced, with the slim 52% lean toward a price decline by August 31 reflecting mixed short-term signals in the Pokémon TCG secondary market. Persistent collector demand for popular chase cards like Mega Charizard X ex and Y ex from sets such as Phantasmal Flames and Ascended Heroes continues to support values, yet recent TCGPlayer data shows notable volatility and downward pressure on several variants amid broader 2026 releases that have increased supply. New mega-evolution product drops and fluctuating sealed box sales have introduced fresh inventory, tempering upward momentum even as tournament play keeps certain ex decks relevant in Standard format. Key swing factors include upcoming monthly price reports, any late-August promotional announcements or reprint rumors, and real-time sales velocity heading into the month’s end—developments that could quickly shift the closely contested consensus if demand spikes or oversupply becomes clearer.
