Current NWS and local forecasts project Denver’s September 4 overnight low in the mid-60s under mostly clear skies after a sunny day with highs near 92–93 °F, well above the 1991–2020 average low of 53.9 °F. Recent model runs show a stable warm air mass with light southerly winds limiting mixing and allowing moderate radiative cooling. Key differentiating factors include small variations in cloud cover timing, boundary-layer wind speeds, and exact dew-point values that can shift the minimum by several degrees. Trader sentiment remains split between the 74 °F+ and 55 °F-or-below brackets because forecast uncertainty around these thresholds persists until final observational data are recorded.
