Cho I-Hsuan and Cho Yi-Tsen, the third seeds with established doubles rankings near 104, face lower-ranked Italians Marta Lombardini and Federica Urgesi on red clay at the WTA 125 Parma Ladies Open. The Taiwanese pair advanced with a straight-sets win in the round of 16 and typically control net play and return games more effectively in longer rallies. Lombardini and Urgesi, who posted a 6-1, 6-4 victory in their opening match, benefit from local knowledge and recent clay-court exposure, yet lack comparable team synergy or ranking depth. Surface conditions favor baseline consistency, where the Chos' experience and head-to-head edge in similar events provide the clearest edge entering the contest.
