This market will resolve according to the second most-streamed song globally on Spotify for the week labeled September 11. Songs will be primarily ranked by order on the specified chart. If two or more songs are tied for any position, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the songs' listed titles. This market will resolve to the song that occupies the second-highest finishing position after applying this ranking. If Spotify does not release its #2 song for the week labeled September 11 by September 12, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will default to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from Spotify. The weekly top songs chart can be found on open.spotify.com under the "Charts" heading. Any references to Spotify, Spotify charts, streaming data, or any associated marks are descriptive only and do not indicate an endorsement of this product or any affiliation between Spotify and Polymarket. Spotify and related marks are the property of Spotify AB and its group companies. With several tracks trading near 50% implied probability for the #2 Spotify song the week of September 11, traders view the race as wide open and highly sensitive to final streaming data. Recent releases and promotional pushes from artists like Katy Perry, KAROL G, and Miley Cyrus have created tight competition, where daily streams, playlist placements, and viral momentum can quickly shift positions. Historical patterns show mid-week surges or fan-driven spikes often decide close finishes, while established catalog tracks like Justin Bieber’s “Beauty and a Beat” lag at lower odds due to weaker current velocity. The next chart update and any late-week announcements remain key catalysts that could break the deadlock among the frontrunners.
