Rod Wave’s “Don’t Look Down” commands near-certain trader consensus for the Billboard 200 top spot the week of September 12 thanks to its dominant first-week performance. Released August 28, the project opened with 99,000 equivalent album units—driven overwhelmingly by 95 million on-demand streams—securing Rod Wave’s fourth career No. 1 and marking his eighth straight top-10 entry. Loyal fan engagement, proven R&B/hip-hop streaming power, and a clean competitive window with no major releases overlapping the tracking period ending September 3 have locked in the lead. An upset remains possible only through an unforeseen late catalog surge or data revision, though historical patterns and current metrics make that scenario highly improbable.
