This market will resolve to "Yes" if any player records an albatross at the 2026 Irish Open. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Only an albatross recorded during official tournament rounds will be considered. No albatross recorded during practice rounds or any other period of play will be considered. If the tournament is postponed, this market will remain open until the tournament is completed. If the 2026 Irish Open is cancelled, or postponed after September 27, 2026 at 11:59PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be the official results published by the DP World Tour website (https://www.europeantour.com/).**The rarity of albatrosses in professional golf underpins the 63.5% implied probability for "No" at the 2026 Amgen Irish Open.** Albatrosses require precise long-iron or fairway-wood approaches on reachable par-5s, and links layouts like the new Trump International Golf Links at Doonbeg—with firm turf, Atlantic winds, and a par-70 setup measuring 6,838 yards—typically reduce accuracy and distance control for the field’s top players, including defending champion Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, and Shane Lowry. Round 1 scoring has been competitive but not explosive amid coastal conditions, and historical data shows such feats remain infrequent even in strong DP World Tour fields. While the stacked roster and four rounds increase opportunity, the combination of course demands and statistical scarcity supports trader consensus favoring no albatross.
