Travis Kelce's nine receptions for 101 yards and a score drew repeated attention, including his all-time yards-after-catch milestone, while Jonathan Taylor's two rushing touchdowns and 92 yards kept Colts offensive momentum in focus. Key storylines included the controversial overtime fumble review involving Laquon Treadwell that extended the game, Harrison Butker's game-winning 40-yard field goal, Alec Pierce's heel injury, and the overall back-and-forth nature of the 33-30 contest at Arrowhead. These elements shaped commentary around individual matchups, officiating decisions, and both teams' records entering Week 3.
