The wide-open field for the Week 2 receiving touchdowns leader reflects the inherent volatility of single-game red-zone opportunities across a full 16-game slate, with no player holding a meaningful edge after Week 1. Numerous wide receivers, tight ends, and pass-catching backs enter with comparable target shares and favorable matchups, while injuries such as A.J. Brown’s placement on injured reserve and day-to-day concerns for others like Zay Flowers and Ladd McConkey create shifting usage patterns without establishing a dominant option. Trader consensus around 35–49.5% for a broad group of names underscores how game script, defensive schemes, and random variance in scoring distribution keep probabilities tightly bunched rather than concentrated on established stars.
