This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed TV show is ranked in the Top 5 of Google’s official Year in Search Global "TV Shows" list for 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." The specified list is expected to be displayed on the Google Trends Year in Search hub, with location selected to Global. The navigation procedure as of market creation involves going to trends.withgoogle.com/year-in-search/ and clicking through Global → Trending → TV Shows. The 2026 page is expected to appear using the same navigation once released (as the 2025 page currently shows the specified ranking). This market will resolve based on the specified list regardless of navigation procedure. This market may resolve as soon as the specified list for 2026 is released. If Google does not release the specified list by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No." The resolution source for this market will be the specified list as published by Google.**Big Netflix originals like His & Hers, Stranger Things Season 5, and Bridgerton continue to drive the bulk of Google search volume for TV in 2026, fueled by massive viewing minutes, cast news, and plot speculation that spills into search queries.** His & Hers, a January limited series starring Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson, posted early leadership in trader views after racking up over 100 million views and sustained Trends spikes through September. Streaming metrics from the first half of the year highlight Stranger Things (23+ billion minutes) and The Pitt as dominant, but search interest often tracks hype cycles around premieres, renewals, and cross-platform buzz more than raw minutes watched. Fall 2026 launches—including new Netflix dramas like Crew Girl, returning hits such as The Gentlemen Season 2, and cable entries like TNT’s High Value Target—could generate fresh spikes and reorder the top five if they achieve comparable virality or platform promotion. Traders watch for sustained Trends data and official Year in Search criteria, as late-year releases and awards momentum frequently shift outcomes.
