The 2026 FIFA World Cup's opening matches and pre-tournament form have kept the "most goal contributions" market tight at the top, with trader consensus reflecting Kylian Mbappé's edge at 27% driven by his proven World Cup scoring record, captaincy role for a deep-running France side, and consistent attacking output despite minor fitness questions. Harry Kane sits close behind at 20% on the back of a prolific Bayern Munich season exceeding 60 goals across competitions and England's reliance on him as the central focal point. Lamine Yamal's 19.5% share stems from his creative flair and Spain's strong squad outlook, tempered by recent hamstring concerns that could limit early minutes. Erling Haaland, Lautaro Martínez, and others trail as underdogs whose national teams face steeper paths to extended knockout runs, underscoring how expected playing time, team advancement potential, and head-to-head stylistic matchups among elite forwards sustain the narrow spreads.
