Suzan Lamens enters this Berlin grass-court qualifying match as the slight trader favorite over Dalma Galfi, reflecting her higher ranking and recent consistency despite both players posting middling 2026 results. Lamens reached a career-high near No. 85 and advanced to Wimbledon’s second round in 2025, while Galfi’s stronger grass pedigree includes two third-round appearances at the All England Club. Their head-to-head is tied 1-1, with the most recent meeting a 2023 clay retirement win for Lamens. Both competitors have shown mixed form entering the grass swing, and the fast surface plus potential fatigue from the schedule could amplify serve and net-play advantages for either player in what remains a tightly contested qualifier.
