If the 2026 FIFA World Cup is cancelled, postponed after June 14, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the listed player cannot be confirmed as a part of the listed nation’s official squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from FIFA (https://www.fifa.com/), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.Spain manager Luis de la Fuente submitted a 55-man preliminary squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in mid-May, setting the stage for the final 26-player roster expected by late May. Recent club form heavily influences selections, with Barcelona players such as Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Pau Cubarsi, and Fermín López featuring prominently after strong La Liga and Champions League campaigns. Injury concerns have shifted dynamics, including Dani Carvajal's exclusion due to ongoing physical issues and Nico Williams facing uncertainty over his availability. Goalkeeper competition remains tight between Unai Simón and David Raya, while midfield depth from Rodri and emerging options like Álex Baena adds selection pressure. Head-to-head experience from Euro 2024 success and positional balance continue to guide de la Fuente's decisions ahead of the tournament opener.
