Bautista Agut, a 38-year-old Spaniard buoyed by home-crowd support, impressed in his tournament opener with a clinical 6-3, 6-1 first-round rout of Pedro Martinez, firing 25 winners without a double fault amid his 4-6 clay mark this year. No injuries reported; their first clay meeting favors Bergs' baseline grinding but tests Bautista Agut's experience and surface familiarity in this outdoor ATP Challenger 175 event.
