Jan Choinski enters the Zagreb Challenger semifinal against Arthur Fery with a clear edge in experience and recent clay-court results, having advanced past Ficovich, Galan, and Rodesch while maintaining strong consistency on the surface. The 29-year-old German holds the higher ATP ranking near 122 and boasts 18 Challenger titles, many on clay, giving him proven depth in extended rallies typical of red-clay play at Sports Center Salata. Fery, a 23-year-old Brit ranked around 157, shows solid overall form with a 13-7 record this year and has demonstrated resilience by saving set deficits in prior rounds, yet he lacks any head-to-head history against Choinski and fewer clay-specific results. Schedule factors include both players navigating a condensed draw without major rest concerns, though Choinski’s greater match volume on this surface could influence stamina in the later stages.
