Gian van Veen enters this Australian Darts Masters quarter-final as the world number two with strong recent form across PDC events, yet the market shows a dead heat at 50 percent implied probability due to Brody Klinge’s home-soil momentum after a standout upset of Michael Smith. Klinge’s aggressive checkout finishing and crowd support in Wollongong create realistic upset potential against any top seed, while van Veen’s experience in best-of-11 legs and proven scoring rate keep the contest balanced. Factors such as first-leg advantage, early 180s, and finishing under pressure could quickly shift sentiment either way in what remains a tightly matched pairing.
