The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting. The Red Bull Ring's modern layout, with expanded runoff areas and upgraded barriers, has kept race-day red flags rare in recent Austrian Grands Prix despite its high-speed corners and elevation changes. New 2026 power-unit regulations have introduced early reliability and start-line concerns, as evidenced by multiple virtual safety car periods during the Australian opener, yet teams and drivers have adapted quickly without widespread stoppages. Historical data shows most red flags at the venue stem from weather or multi-car incidents decades ago, while current FIA protocols and car designs reduce the likelihood of race-halting crashes. Traders price the "no" outcome at 81% to reflect this baseline stability, even as the sprint format and potential late-season development battles add minor variables.
