Rockstar Games officially confirmed the Grand Theft Auto VI standard edition launch price at $79.99 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S ahead of the November 19, 2026 release, with pre-orders opening in late June. This pricing aligns with recent AAA console trends while including an Ultimate Edition at $99.99 that adds premium vehicles, weapons, apparel, and story content. Traders are tracking any last-minute regional adjustments or retailer promotions before launch, though the core $80 figure now reflects verified developer statements rather than speculation. Competitive dynamics around Take-Two's value positioning and historical GTA pricing patterns further anchor current market sentiment.
