Spencer Arrighetti's dominant 1.88 ERA (4-1) gives Houston a pitching advantage over Jack Leiter's 4.85 ERA (1-3), potentially swaying trader sentiment despite the Astros' 1-4 skid in their last five games versus Texas' mixed 3-2 stretch including wins over Arizona. Key absences include Rangers' Wyatt Langford (forearm, 10-day IL) and Josh Smith (glute, IL to May 18), plus Astros' Jeremy Peña (hamstring, IL to May 16) and Nathan Eovaldi's recent side tightness keeping the ace day-to-day for Texas. Home cooking and rivalry intensity add unpredictability to this intrastate clash.
