Both teams enter 2026 as AFC East rebuilds with comparable projected win totals in the mid-single digits, driving trader consensus toward a 1-1 split in their October 25 and November 29 matchups. The Dolphins, under new head coach Jeff Hafley and with Malik Willis at quarterback after a major roster purge, sit at 0-2 amid a brutal schedule and questions at receiver. The Jets, at 1-1 with Geno Smith, Breece Hall, and Garrett Wilson, added veteran defensive leadership but placed rookie wideout Omar Cooper Jr. on injured reserve with a high-ankle sprain. Early results and roster uncertainty leave neither side a clear edge in the home-and-home series, keeping the implied probability of a tie highest while the Jets hold a modest edge over Miami in the market.
