This market will resolve according to the winner of Titled Tuesday on September 15, 2026 11:59 PM ET. If the listed player does not play their corresponding market will resolve to "No". If this tournament is postponed after September 29, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Titled Tuesday on September 15 features an 11-round 5+0 Swiss blitz event on Chess.com open to titled players, with a $10,000 prize fund and frequent participation from dozens of elite grandmasters.** Recent results underscore the event's volatility: Lê Quang Liêm claimed the September 8 title on tiebreaks at 9.5/11 ahead of Hikaru Nakamura, while Hans Niemann won outright on September 1 with 10/11. Other 2026 victors include Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Magnus Carlsen, Alireza Firouzja, and Arjun Erigaisi, highlighting how form, pairings, and tiebreak metrics routinely separate contenders in a deep field. Trader consensus prices dozens of players in a narrow 48.5–49.5% band because no single participant has established a decisive edge entering the week. Nakamura and Carlsen bring proven consistency and historical success in the format, yet recent winners like Niemann and Liêm demonstrate that mid-seed players can surge with hot streaks. The Swiss structure, large entry (often 400+), and inherent variance of blitz chess keep probabilities tightly bunched, with outcomes hinging on head-to-head matchups, rest, and final-round pressure rather than any clear favorite.
