Achieving a calendar Grand Slam requires winning the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, and US Open in a single season, a feat last completed by any male player in 1969. This extreme rarity, compounded by the need to peak across hard courts, clay, and grass while managing a packed schedule and injury risks, drives the near-certain market positioning that no player will accomplish it in 2026. Carlos Alcaraz stands as the sole notable contender due to his multiple major titles and current world ranking, yet even his strong recent form faces stiff competition from players like Jannik Sinner along with inevitable variables such as surface transitions and potential upsets. Only an unprecedented clean sweep of the first three majors without major disruptions would realistically alter these odds heading into the final event.
