Top-seeded Jan Choinski (ATP 122) meets qualifier Daniel Elahi Galan (ATP 271) in the ATP Challenger Zagreb round of 16 on outdoor clay courts, where their even 2-2 head-to-head record underscores a closely contested matchup. Choinski grinded out a three-set win over Juan Pablo Ficovich in the first round, building on solid recent form, while Galan surged through qualifying before upsetting higher-ranked Thiago Seyboth Wild 2-0, marking three straight victories and highlighting his clay affinity despite a rankings dip. No injuries or withdrawals reported; Galan's momentum tempers Choinski's seeding edge, with stylistic clashes on the slower surface pivotal for trader assessments ahead of this imminent contest.
