In the ATP Challenger Bordeaux round of 16 on clay, No. 68 Raphael Collignon holds a slight trader consensus edge over No. 85 Alexander Shevchenko, driven by his 7-5, 6-4 head-to-head win in the Brisbane qualifiers earlier this year and recent momentum from a straight-sets victory over Geoffrey Blancaneaux to reach this stage. Shevchenko advanced past Hugo Gaston in three sets, showcasing resilience, but his form has dipped since peaking at No. 45, with clay historically suiting his baseline game. Both Top 100 players enter healthy per official reports, though outdoor conditions in France could introduce weather variables; Collignon benefits from continental home support and upward trajectory toward his career-high ranking.
