Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” leads trader consensus for the #2 U.S. Spotify track this week, driven by its sustained streaming surge and TikTok-fueled resurgence that propelled the 2024 track to recent global and domestic #1 peaks after its April 2026 single release. The song’s viral momentum and consistent daily stream counts have created a wide gap versus newer releases, including Ariana Grande’s “hate that i made you love me” and “Petal,” Olivia Rodrigo’s “the cure” and “Stupid Song,” Morgan Wallen’s “Been By Now,” and Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas,” all trading near even money or lower. Chart trackers show “Earrings” maintaining elevated U.S. positions into mid-August despite earlier stream adjustments, while competitors await fresh weekly data drops and promotional pushes that could narrow the gap before the period locks.
