Yuki Naito enters the ITF W35 Taipei 2 hard-court match against Mio Mushika as the clear favorite, backed by her WTA ranking near 286 and a strong 2026 record of 28 wins against 12 losses. Naito reached the final of a W100 event in Takasaki in May and brings greater experience on outdoor hard surfaces. Mushika, ranked around 442 with a 16-15 record this year, recently suffered a retirement loss in Taipei qualifying or draw play. Both Japanese players compete in the main draw Round of 32 on June 23, with no confirmed injuries or withdrawals altering the field. Trader consensus reflects Naito’s edge in recent form, ranking differential, and head-to-head context on similar surfaces.
