Chun-Hsin Tseng enters the Bratislava Challenger second-round matchup with a clear experience edge, holding the higher ranking at No. 245 after a career-high of No. 83 and demonstrating steady recent form on clay with a straight-sets opening win over Dimitar Kuzmanov. The 24-year-old Taiwanese player has compiled solid results across multiple European clay events this spring, including deep runs in Perugia and Vicenza. Maxim Mrva, an 18-year-old prospect ranked around No. 312, brings strong momentum from the Prostejov Challenger where he advanced to the quarterfinals with victories over Dalibor Svrcina and Pedro Boscardin Dias before falling to Sebastian Baez. Both players are competing on their preferred surface in a home-region event for the Slovakian Mrva, with no prior head-to-head history between them.
