Bernard Tomic holds a substantial edge over Irish wildcard Conor Gannon in their Dublin Challenger round-of-32 match on grass, with traders pricing Tomic as a heavy favorite based on his ATP ranking near 188 and prior top-20 pedigree. Tomic brings greater experience from Grand Slam quarterfinal appearances and recent Challenger-level activity, though reports note inconsistent recent form after mixed qualifying and main-draw results on varied surfaces. Gannon, ranked outside the top 1,000, has competed steadily on the ITF circuit in 2026 with a quarterfinal at an M25 in Nottingham, but faces a steep challenge against the veteran Australian in a home event where local support offers limited compensation. The surface favors aggressive baseline and serve-oriented play, potentially amplifying Tomic’s historical strengths while highlighting Gannon’s relative lack of exposure at this level.
