Braden Shick enters this ITF M25 Tulsa round-of-32 hard-court matchup as the clear favorite, holding an ATP ranking near 328 compared to William Manning’s far lower standing. Shick’s recent professional results, including an M25 title and strong results on outdoor hard, underpin trader consensus around his superior experience and consistency at this level. Manning, a recent NC State product and former teammate of Shick, has shown promise through ITF qualifiers and early main-draw wins but lacks comparable pro seasoning. With no prior head-to-head record, the contest hinges on Shick’s established baseline game and movement against Manning’s developing power and college-honed competitiveness on a surface favoring steady rally construction.
