Recent official and ensemble forecasts from sources including the Turkish State Meteorological Service and global models (GFS, ECMWF) indicate a stable high-pressure ridge over central Anatolia, delivering clear skies, light northeasterly winds, and minimal cloud cover through September 3. This setup favors strong daytime solar heating, with projected maximum temperatures of 29–31 °C—slightly above the early-September climatological average of ~27–28 °C. Model consensus remains tight on dry conditions and light winds, reducing uncertainty in peak readings and supporting the market’s heavy weighting toward 30 °C (53.5 %) and 31 °C (23 %). Any deviation would require an unexpected increase in moisture or wind that current runs do not show.
