Trader sentiment for Panama City’s September 15 high centers on the 30–32 °C range because current model guidance and recent observations point to typical late-rainy-season conditions. Persistent moisture from the Intertropical Convergence Zone supports afternoon convection that often limits peak temperatures, while light steering winds and high humidity favor readings near the September climatological average of 30 °C. Latest short-range forecasts indicate a 29 °C high with scattered storms, keeping the 31 °C and 32 °C outcomes as the market leaders at 39 % and 27 % implied probability. Any reduction in cloud cover or delayed thunderstorm initiation could push readings to 32–33 °C, but widespread rain would likely cap the maximum closer to 30 °C. Updated National Meteorological Service of Panama guidance and the next model cycle remain the key near-term catalysts.
