Recent Starship V3 test flights, including Flight 13 in July 2026, advanced suborbital performance with successful Starlink V3 satellite deployment, in-space Raptor relight, and an intact soft splashdown that enabled the first full vehicle recovery. However, the booster experienced a hard landing while the upper stage has yet to achieve a tower catch or any reflight, both essential for demonstrating full reusability of the two-stage system. Elon Musk has targeted a ship catch in the coming months and an initial reflight by late 2026 or early 2027, but repeated schedule slips, ongoing FAA licensing requirements, and the need for orbital flights plus rapid turnaround leave limited runway before year-end 2026. These factors underpin trader consensus favoring the “No” outcome at 63.5% implied probability.
