Silver prices have climbed sharply into June 2026, trading near $76 per ounce amid a sixth consecutive global supply deficit and sustained industrial demand from solar photovoltaics, electric vehicles, and electronics. A softer U.S. dollar, with the DXY near 99, and tempered Federal Reserve rate-cut expectations have supported the metal, while recent U.S.-Iran truce developments reduced safe-haven flows. Structural deficits are projected to persist, though elevated prices may prompt some substitution in photovoltaic manufacturing. Traders are monitoring upcoming inflation data, Fed communications, and any shifts in Treasury yields for further directional signals, as these factors continue to shape market-implied odds around current levels.
