Paulson and Vliegen enter as clear favorites in this ATP Challenger Prague doubles opener, reflecting their greater experience and consistent results on the circuit. The Belgian-Czech pairing has reached multiple semifinals this summer, including recent outings in Hagen and Liberec, leveraging Vliegen’s veteran net play and strong serve-volley combinations. Kumstat and Pecak, both Czechs, arrive on a hot streak after claiming a title and posting an 8-0 run in recent events, showing improved coordination and aggressive baseline returns suited to the surface. No reported injuries or withdrawals affect either side, though the younger duo’s limited head-to-head history against established teams leaves room for variance in a best-of-three format. Trader consensus prices the outcome accordingly based on these form and matchup edges.
