Francesco Passaro enters the Todi Challenger clay-court matchup as the clear favorite in trader pricing, holding a substantial ranking edge at approximately No. 219 versus Oriol Roca Batalla’s No. 342. The 25-year-old Italian has shown stronger recent results on the surface and defeated Roca Batalla in straight sets during their June 2026 encounter in Targu Mures. Roca Batalla, a 33-year-old Spaniard with extensive clay experience, arrives after a straight-sets singles win in Todi qualifying or early rounds, yet his lower ranking and age factor limit implied probability. Home-country support and current form further tilt consensus toward Passaro, while any late injury or fatigue from the doubles schedule could alter the outcome in this second-round contest.
