Moez Echargui faces Spencer Johnson in a first-round match at the 2026 Lexington Open, an ATP Challenger 75 event on outdoor hard courts. Johnson, a 23-year-old American ranked near No. 524 after a career-high of 524 in July, enters with strong recent momentum from multiple SoCal Pro Series titles and a 15-match win streak through mid-July that has lifted his ranking. The UCLA product also posted a straight-sets qualifying win in Lexington days earlier. Echargui, a Tunisian veteran, lacks comparable recent hard-court results or ranking movement heading into the matchup. With no prior head-to-head history and Johnson’s domestic surface familiarity plus current form providing the clearest edge, traders view the American as the consensus favorite in this early-round encounter.
