Johannus Monday holds a modest ranking edge over Lui Maxted in the Roehampton 2 Challenger round of 16 on outdoor hard courts, with Monday seeded seventh and ranked around 311 compared to Maxted’s 362. Monday leads their head-to-head 2-0, including a three-set win earlier this year on indoor hard at Nottingham. Both British players have posted solid 2026 results on hard, though Monday’s deeper Challenger experience and higher career-high ranking of 212 give him the clearer recent momentum entering the match. Maxted advanced comfortably through his opening round, while Monday overcame a tough qualifier draw, setting up a competitive matchup where serve consistency and break-point conversion on the faster surface will likely decide the outcome.
