Akira Santillan enters this Istanbul Challenger matchup as the clear favorite based on his higher ATP ranking near 291 compared to Digvijaypratap Singh’s position around 540, along with greater professional experience on the tour. Santillan has shown competitive recent form in Challenger events, including wins that reflect solid baseline consistency and movement, while Singh, a right-handed Indian player standing 6'3", remains early in his career with limited main-draw results and a recent loss in a prior Turkish event. The pair has no prior head-to-head history, leaving surface adaptation, current match fitness, and serving reliability as key variables on what is typically a hard-court or clay setup in Istanbul. Trader consensus in the market reflects Santillan’s ranking edge and experience as primary drivers, though Singh’s physical tools create realistic upset potential in a first-round encounter.
