Yibing Wu and Yunchaokete Bu, both ranked in the low 100s on the ATP, meet in the Lincoln Challenger round of 16 on hard courts. Bu, seeded second and holding a 1-0 head-to-head edge from a 2024 hard-court win, arrives with strong recent momentum after a three-set victory over Evan Zhu in the round of 32 that featured two tight tiebreaks. Wu advanced via a straight-sets win over Pavle Marinkov but enters with less documented recent hard-court success at this level. Bu’s 8-2 record over his past ten matches and consistent Challenger results on the surface give traders reason to view him as the consensus favorite, though both players’ similar rankings keep the matchup competitive on paper.
