Jodie Burrage enters the W35 Roehampton grass-court match as the clear favorite against Esther Adeshina, reflecting her higher career achievements including a WTA peak of No. 85 and multiple ITF titles. Burrage favors the surface and brings recent British team experience from Billie Jean King Cup doubles, while Adeshina, a lower-ranked player with college tennis roots and stronger recent doubles activity, faces a significant experience gap. The matchup highlights Burrage’s established singles record and grass-court comfort against Adeshina’s developing profile, with any outcome hinging on form, fitness, and adaptation to the fast conditions typical of Roehampton events.
